Pioneertown
This was my first trip to Pioneertown and I was easily charmed by the small town and the people there. Every Sunday night, there is live music at the local bar/restaurant Pappy and Harriets and the usual sleepy, small town is filled with life.
The town itself was created in 1946 and was built to be a movie set. Over 50 Tv shows and movies have been filmed here. It is located in Yucca Valley, neighboring Joshua Tree National Park.
It was late spring- the perfect time to visit, and lined with wide open roads that were a dream for Thomas to skate.
