Late summer in Europe

This was the fastest and most exhausting trip back to Europe we have made so far, but also one of the best trips yet! We had an 8 hour layover in Copenhagen, Denmark so we decided to leave the airport for a bit and explore the canals.

We arrived in Rome and spent a day and a half exploring the incredible city by foot and was pretty happy that we got to see and experience as much as we did in such a short amount of time.

From Rome, we took the train to Livorno to catch the ferry to Corsica to see Thomas’ family. This was a short but sweet trip, and I think we ended up taking every transportation service available. Definitely worth the travel to experience the beauty of Rome! We plan to keep exploring Europe as we continue to visit Thomas’ home island.
